101st Veterans

I completed the first unit of veterans last night.

Now I have to begin work on the chimera. It will be pretty battle damaged so I'll post it in steps so as to show how I did all the battle wear.

The 101st Vendoland

So I'm starting in on rebuilding my Imperial Guard again. I was dissatisfied with my old armies paint job, knowing I could do a lot better. Also, black and grey isn't as eye-catching as all color models. I've been painting the last few weeks (ever since the new codex was released). This is what I've come up with for my final paint scheme:

I've painted almost 30 guardsmen, a leman russ, and most of a valkyrie. I'm trying not to get burnt out painting too many infantrymen. Last night I painted my Primaris Psyker and the Sergeant for my Plasma Gun armed Veterans. Here they are:



I should have a pic of the completed veteran squad up by tomorrow night, but no guarantees as tomorrow is my birthday and I might be out with family and/or friends all day.
